Frank Warren dismissed the Tyson Fury vs Dillian Youte rematch after allegations of an illegal shove at Wembley showdown

FRANK WARREN has rejected Dillian Whyte’s claim that he should be allowed to have a second chance at Tyson Fury.

The Brixton puncher was eliminated in the sixth round of Saturday's bout. Fury, however, was not happy with how he was pushed just moments after landing the final uppercut.

Frank Warren rubbished Whyte’s rematch claims

Whyte, aged 34, felt that the fight was prematurely ended. He told Sky Sports that he should have had enough time to recuperate and had enough time to return to his corner.

"Tyson Fury gets away from a lot."

"I hope that he doesn’t retire, because I want another chance."

Warren, Fury's promoter, is not impressed by Whyte’s plea for a rematch, and even compared it to him asking Julia Roberts out in Hollywood.

Warren answered talkSPORT's question about whether Whyte should be fighting the Gypsy King again. What? Based on what?"

Warren said that he was informed about Whyte's comments and added, "When I was younger, I wanted to take Julia Roberts out. It never happened."

He said that the only thing that was unsatisfactory about it was that he was stopped and knocked out.

It's not even debateable. It's not worth going there. Zero.

Dillian, it's not going to happen. You've got to fight for your place in contention. Good luck!

Despite his public appeals, Whyte has yet to contact Fury's representatives about a possible rematch.

Warren said, "No, I have not heard anything from him."

"He was gone. He was on his feet. Tyson should have pushed him rather than punched him, because he wouldn't have gotten up.

He doesn't have a case. He was not only beaten but also solidly defeated."

Fury, 33 years old, doubled down on the claim that he will retire after his win over Whyte.

Warren isn’t so certain that the Gypsy King has left his throne.

He said, "I wouldn’t convince him because he’s up to himself to convince.

"The truth is that almost all fighters have returned, but very few have retired.
