Frank Warren says Dillian Whyte will "see what elite level" is when he begins talks for Tyson Fury’s 'perfect homecoming".

FRANK WARREN confirmed that Tyson Fury is currently in negotiations for his "perfect homecoming" fight against Dillian Whyte.

The promoter also warned that mandatory challenger Whyte would'see what elite status' looks like when he shared the ring with Fury, who is unbeaten.

Warren stated to the Daily Star that Tyson Fury was ordered to negotiate with Dillian Whyte in order for Tyson Fury's WBC heavyweight title defense.

"And that's exactly the thing we are doing now, discussing what could be a perfect homecoming for Gypsy King.

"Tyson is not afraid of taking on any challenger, so once we made the WBC decision, we were ready for it.

"He has already defeated the most dangerous puncher of the division twice, three times if we count the first fight in which he was robbed by a win in - so who would pose a threat?

"Whyte will have his chance when we reach an agreement on a contract and he'll get to see elite heavyweight boxing."

After defeating Deontay Wilder (36), Fury, 33, announced that he would fight Oleksandr Uzyk (34), for the undisputed crown.

Anthony Joshua, 32 years old, had already signed a rematch with Ukraine after losing in September and would have required a fee to withdraw.

Tentative discussions had begun to do so, and the WBC ordered Fury to defend his title, against Dillian Whyte (33).

It also gives the Gypsy King an opportunity to fight in the UK, his first fight since 2018. He has boxed five of his previous fights Stateside.

Warren stated: "And it would be great to have it on in the UK, February or March."

"It will almost be four years since Tyson fought on these shores, after he conquered America.

"The final decision about where it goes will depend on a variety of factors."

"So it looks like Whyte will be next for the Gypsy Kings and then we'll move on to the undisputed showdown against Oleksandr Uzyk or Anthony Joshua.

"These are exciting times in the heavyweight division."
