FRANK WARREN believes Anthony Joshua only has a "puncher’s chance" to exact revenge on Oleksandr Uzyk.
After Ukrainian Usyk's easy defeat on points last September, AJ wants to regain his WBA and IBF heavyweight titles.
Frank Warren
claims that Anthony Joshua cannot hope to beat Oleksandr Usyk.
Warren, Tyson Fury's promoter, believes Joshua's best hope is to outmuscle stylist enough to land a deadly shot.
He stated, "I give him the chance to be a good puncher."
"He has to be himself. He won't outbox him. He won't get on his backfoot to outbox him.
"He has to put Usyk on his hindfoot. He can do it? He can't, I think."
Joshua was a terrible opponent in a southpaw class-act Usyk tactical game 10 months ago. He paid dearly.
David Haye, a fellow ex-heavyweight king, believes that the 32-year old might be forced to retire if he loses his third pro bout in Saudi Arabia on Aug 20.
AJ signed a long-term agreement with DAZN, a sports streaming service.
Haye stated that if he does not win, he will not want to be in a sport where his opponent is the best.
"He was out-hustled by a person he knows he could beat, and if he does everything right, Usyk still defeats him. I don't know what else he can do in the sport.
"He is so a winner, that I don’t know what he will do next if he loses.
"He believes that he has the physical ability to defeat Usyk. So do I. With the right plan, he can win the victory."
