Franklin, Dillian Whyte's rival, claims he signed for fight and sees Anthony Joshua clash after he puts "joke" to sleep

Jermaine Franklin, an American heavyweight, has announced that he has signed a fight contract to face Briton Dillian Whyte.

After beating Alexander Povetkin back in March, Whyte (33) is determined to win a world title.

Only two of his 30 professional fights have been lost by Whyte

The Body Snatcher, however, wants to keep busy while he waits to see Anthony Joshua, the unified champion, and Tyson Fury, WBC champ to face Deontay Wilder.

He will be returning to the ring October 30, and Franklin, who has been mentioned as a potential opponent for Whyte, has already started the trash talk.

He said to MyBettingSites, "Well, I've signed a bout agreement on mine end. I'm ready. It's time to let the world know that the United States still has the most skilled fighters on the planet.

"Plus Dillian Whyte, it's a joke. He can talk a good game, but he must fight someone who is hungry, faster, and younger than he. I am afraid of 'Betty' Whyte, and he should be.

He is acting like a spoilt, has-been fighter. He can sign his end with a crayon I have. I'm sure he will need a crayon, so I will have extras in case he loses one.

"If I'm a bum like he claimed I was, then show it. People keep thinking I'm a stepover fighter, but they don't realize that I'm willing to prove the world that the United States has the best heavyweights in the world and that I'm the best in that category.

"I want to be able to share my faith with the world and stop the hate. Dillian seems to be worried and scared about me fighting him because he knows that I'm not a fool. I am a skilled fighter. I'm no pushover.

"I have fought many good fighters to get here. Every win and loss in boxing is a learning experience. I intend to continue learning from my losses for a long period of time.

"I will show him all that Jermaine Franklin has to offer. That is something the world has yet to see. I will focus more on my body and use my jab more often than ever before. He can sleep right away if he touches the canvas with a pillow.

Whyte's pro-losses have been against Joshua in 2015, and Povetkin in last year.

Franklin has a perfect record with 20-0, but has never faced anyone of the caliber of Whyte.

He still exudes confidence in the face of possible clashes.

He is eager to face Joshua for the belts, if he succeeds against Whyte.

He said, "After I beat Dillian I would then be prepared to fight Joshua." Andy Ruiz demonstrated his weaknesses, which he has shown to everyone.

"Plus, it's just one punch that a fighter needs. "Do not forget that the boxing world has yet to see my best."
