DILLIAN WHYTE would accept the 80-20 split to Tyson Fury's fight, if his case against the WBC is not boosted.
Brixton's 33 year-old heavyweight was offered the minimum purse percentage, despite his status of interim champion and mandatory challenger.
Whyte's team and promoter Hearn are furious at the WBC's decision, and they have started a new arbitration against them.
Hearn believes that this will kybosh all the purse bids for Mexico City that were set for January 11.
Matchroom boss Dillian said that there was a lot of legal activity behind the scenes. They are unhappy with the 80/20 split ruling. There is an objection process.
"He would accept it once an arbitral or court has been held because he feels strongly about it."
He feels that 80-20 is unfair, but if the Court of Arbitration determines otherwise then I believe he will continue.
"The offers Dillian has received so far are not acceptable. However, the amount we bid at purse biddings likely will be, so Dillian is not in a hurry to accept unfair deals.

"But we expect that the split will be increased through the process we're going through."
Hearn believes that Team Whyte's latest case against the sanctioning body will result in Tuesday's purse bid being cancelled. This will leave this all-English grudge match to simmer even longer.
He said, "I expect it will be delayed." With the arbitration case pending, I don't see how it could go ahead.
"I believe the fight will take place, even at 80-20. It's not about Dillian splitting, it's about the value of the fight, and that will help me win the purse bid.
"But I believe that that will be delayed due to the arbitration - but this is down to WBC."
Frank Warren, Fury's UK promoter, has announced that the Gypsy King will fight again on March 26, with or without his green and gold belt. Whyte must decide quickly if he wishes to be his date.
Hearn, a rival matchmaker, believes it is a ploy to force Whyte into the disappointing deal.
He stated that Fury boxes will be on March 26th and that it won't happen to Dillian as the case is still ongoing. This is to pressure Dillian into a poor deal.
Tyson may decide to drop the WBC belt in favor of defending his Ring Magazine belt, but this could have legal implications for the arbitration case. It's a mess.
"If Fury were my opponent, and I wasn't fighting Usyk, then I would fight Whyte. It is the most lucrative fight for Fury and gets rid of his mandatory.
"But (US promoters) Bob Arum, Frank Warren won’t want to spend the money that Dillian Whyte deserves to fight.
"Until they do that, there will be no deal. They will attempt to get a cheap rival for March.
