Boxing fans were left stunned after discovering the pay-per-view (PPV) price for the upcoming bout between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou. The heavyweight clash is set to take place in Saudi Arabia on October 28.
Fans Not Happy with PPV Price
The announcement of the PPV price for the Fury vs Ngannou fight has sparked outrage among fans. The event will be available to purchase on TNT Sports for £21.95. However, many fans feel that the price is not justified, particularly because they believe Fury will dominate Ngannou, who is making his boxing debut.
One fan expressed their discontent, stating, "£21.95 is too much." Another fan simply stated, "Won't be watching." Others echoed similar sentiments, with one fan questioning who would even be interested in buying the fight when they believe Fury will easily win. Another fan humorously referenced KSI's loss to Tommy Fury, suggesting that it was a more exciting and competitive bout compared to the upcoming one.
Fury Wary of Ngannou's Threat
Tyson Fury, 35, is not underestimating the challenge posed by Ngannou. The heavyweight fighter has been trained by the legendary Mike Tyson, which adds to his credibility. Ngannou, 37, is aiming to do what 31 of Fury's previous opponents have failed to accomplish - knock him out.
Mike Tyson himself has praised Ngannou's power and acknowledged that he has the ability to knock out anyone. However, he also highlighted the importance of precision in landing punches, stating that they need to work on that aspect of Ngannou's skills.
