Tyson Fury is rumoured to be in talks with Hafthor Jornsson about fighting them
Bjornsson, nicknamed Thor, revealed that the wheels were in motion for this extraordinary exhibition bout.
His coach Billy Nelson added fuel to the fire, teasing him about a possible fight.
Nelson stated to The Express that he has something very important in the pipeline.
"I cannot say anything right now, but it will likely be announced next week."
It happens after Bjornsson stated: "Yes, there have been talks, yes, it's been back-and-forth between me and Tyson Fury.
"He said he wanted to travel to Iceland. We'll see.
"I cannot go into detail, but if things work out I would happily dance with Tyson. I would gladly and feel honoured to share the rings with him.
"I believe in myself, can I beat him?" Technically, he is better than me, but I also know that his boxing is better than mine.
"There is no doubt about it, but he has never fought any man my size, my strength and, as we all know, boxing is all about one punch. I'm a heavy-hitter, that's what you saw against Eddie Hall."
Fury, 33 years old, has announced his retirement from boxing after Bjornsson, 34, defeated Hall, 35, in their epic match-up in Dubai.
Nelson said that the Gypsy King was being lined up against Bjornsson (33), in an unsanctioned show.
He said: "It would probably be a six- to eight-round exhibition contest, won’t it?"
"It was a great experience for him, and a great opportunity for their profiles. You wouldn't believe that anyone is being knocked out by this exhibition.
"You'd hope it wouldn't anyway, but you never really know."
