The incident took place at the Miami home of Cuban and left him with severe burnt corneas.

The southpaw took to social media to share the extent of his injuries, which left him nearly unrecognizable.

The Olympic double champion was once considered to be one of the most respected pound-for-pound stars around the globe, but he has now lost both of his fights.
Rigondeaux's latest defeat was in February, 25 against Vincent Astrolabio.
After moving up to super-featherweight, he lost his first fight against Vasiliy Lomachenko in 2017.
Rigondeaux has yet to make his return following the shock accident. His future in boxing is uncertain.
His manager Alex Bornote, who was at the time speaking out about the accident, advised that he undergo surgery.
Bornote stated to the El Nuevo Herald that it was an unfortunate situation.
"When we saw Rigondeaux's face after the pot exploded, we were horrified. His eyes and face looked terrible from the blast. We hope he recovers.
