Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk had a dramatic encounter in Saudi Arabia, following Fury's threat to sue Usyk over a potential delay of their unification fight. Despite the tension, their meeting in Riyadh seemed unexpectedly friendly.

Tyson Fury surprises Oleksandr Usyk

Fury, who was preparing for his crossover fight with UFC legend Francis Ngannou, had some surprising words and actions for Usyk when they crossed paths. Earlier, Fury had called Usyk a "sausage" and warned him of legal consequences if he tried to postpone their scheduled bout in December due to a demand for extended training.

A friendly encounter amid cameras and crowd

As cameras rolled and onlookers watched, Fury approached Usyk with a smile and invited him for a hug. Usyk initially appeared confused, but then embraced Fury and lifted him off the ground, leading to laughter from both fighters.

Unification fight and a three-fight deal

Fury and Usyk have both signed up for heavyweight boxing's first-ever four-belt unifying bout. However, before that happens, Fury must face Ngannou in the opening fight of his three-fight deal in Saudi Arabia. The Gypsy King is set to earn approximately £65 million ($89 million) for the Ngannou fight, with an estimated total earnings of £165 million ($226 million).

It seems that despite the legal threats and tensions between them, Fury and Usyk were able to find some common ground and share a lighthearted moment in their encounter.
