Tyson Fury has been hopping back and forth online to Hafthor Bjornsson
In a press conference, Reign Total Body Fuel's athlete Bjornsson, nicknamed Thor, revealed that the wheels are in motion for an exhibit.
He stated: "Yes, there have been talks. Yes, it's been back-and-forth between Tyson Fury and me.
"He said he wanted to travel to Iceland. We'll see.
"I cannot go into detail, but if things go well I would happily dance with Tyson. I would be honored to share the ring.
"I believe in myself, can I beat him?" Technically, he is better than me, but I also know that his boxing is better than mine.
"There is no doubt about it, but he has never fought any man my size, my strength and, as we all know, boxing is all about one punch. I'm a heavy-hitter, that's what you saw against Eddie Hall."
Fury, 33 years old, is not afraid to get up on the floor to win. This was evident in his fights against Deontay Wilder (36).
Thor, 33, proved his thudding ability by flooring Hall, 34, three more times in their huge grudge match.
Fury has taken the power from Wilder, who is credited with being the hardest hitter ever, but Bjornsson packs an entirely different punch.
He stated that he had never fought any man his size and had never fought any vikings. He has never fought a man as strong as me.
"I believe I will be a surprise to him with my strength and power. It can certainly surprise him.
"But that being said, he is the greatest heavyweight boxer ever, and if the fight goes well, I might eat all my words very fast."
Fury announced his retirement from pro boxing one month after Hall was defeated by Bjornsson in their epic matchup in Dubai.
The two men have threatened to trade leather for insults, but Thor expressed his admiration of the Gypsy King.
He stated that he was willing to fight the man but also has a lot of respect for him.
"But even though he is someone I respect, I would still kick his arse if I could in a ring. It's business.
"And I don’t doubt that him would do the same thing to me, he’s the champ and he wants the world to see that he’s still the champ."
