Hasim Rahman Jr releases a sparring video that shows Jake Paul running away from the bitter fallout of a cancelled fight

HASIM RAHMAN JR released sparring footage of Jake Paul running away as their bitter fallout continues.

Former sparring partners, the pair were scheduled to fight at New York's Madison Square Garden this weekend.

The entire Madison Square Garden pay per-view was canceled due to a weight dispute between the two.

Each side has accused the other of being at fault. Rahman, however, released unheard sparring footage in Rahman's latest move.

The clip shows Paul landing a right-hand, evading counters, and then falling back onto the ropes. At one point, Paul is running.

Rahman captioned this video: "Never, in the history of boxing, has anyone pulled out a fight one week ahead because of weight issues."

"I tried telling y'all that he was a runner and a trackstar."

The call came after Rahman requested a late-notice weight in at Gleason’s boxing gym, New York. He wanted to prove that he can lift 205lb.

After weighing in at 1lb, SunSport was also present, he declared: "Stop being afraid Jake.

"Stop worrying, I'm right there at 206, clearly, I could make it 205. Give people what they want.

They want to see us fight, they want to see you in the ring alongside a real fighter. You've got a fighter here who is willing and able to make 205.

"Stop worrying and start fighting. It's as easy as that.

Rahman, 31, has signed to fight at the 14st 4lb limit for 200lb cruiserweight, despite having lost 16 stone in his last fight in March.

The New York State Athletic Commission decided to monitor his weight, but later changed the fight weight from 205lb to 205lb.

Paul spoke out to say Rahman had refused to change his mind and that he would not scale below 215lb. The MSG card was then canceled.

Rahman, however, denied the claims and staged a private weigh-in as a result.

The commission would have allowed him to lose an additional 20 lb, but he still weighed in above the contract weight.

Rahman was told that every 1lb would have led to him losing 25% of his purse. He was then given a 10lb limit for rehydration.

The American however claimed that he would have accepted the penalty if it was necessary.

Rahman stated that he came in one pound more than you, and you signed the contract to punish me 25%. I'll take the 25% and do the rehydration next day.
