"He doesn't know where it is" - Luis Ortiz brutally knocks out Charles Martin, after being floored twice

Charles Martin, an ex-IBF heavyweight champion, was knocked out by Luis Ortiz in their clash.

Anthony Joshua ended Martin's reign as IBF champ and Martin was forced to resign. King Kong and Martin were locked lips in California this morning.

The St Louis slugger was a strong start to the contest. Ortiz was dropped in the first and fourth rounds by the slugger with a few sneaky right hands.

Ortiz was hit with a nasty straight in the sixth, badly dazed Martin. He was being swarmed before he fell into the ropes.

Ortiz's remarkable stoppage victory was quickly reacted by boxing fans, one of them saying "I hope Martin is okay." He was stopped by that punch.

Another one said, "He was like: "Did you lock your front door?" '"

Another said that Martin was unable to function because Ortiz's punch caused him to go berserk.

One person commented, "He doesn’t know where he’s at all."

Fans were unhappy with the delay in the action by the referee. One said: "That's dreadful, dangerous refereeing."

Another stated, "Ref has had an awful time here."

After a heated protest, Ortiz shoved Martin and almost brought them back to blows.

Thank goodness for cooler heads.

Ortiz stated, moments after the near-mauling, "I told you that this was going to become fireworks."

"He knocked my down twice and at the end I finished him.

"I do respect him a lot. I wasn't worried. I just continued to work the jab.
