Hearn doubts Fury vs Whyte, as it appears that the pair won't sign contracts until they have confirmed their fight date and venue.

Dillian Whyte and TYSON FURY will not sign their fight contracts until a date is set.

Frank Warren, Fury's promoter, won the rights to stage the British grudgematch with a historic PS30.6 million purse bid.

Warren has paid the ten percent deposit to the WBC. President Mauricio Sulaiman confirmed this on Twitter.

Sulaiman added that the next step was site and date confirmation, followed by signed contracts by both fighters.

Cardiff was considered the frontrunner for the fight in April. However, the Principality Stadium is thought to be out of contention.

There are other English venues, such as Wembley, West Ham’s London Stadium, and Spurs’ ground.

Rumours have that the fight will be held on April 23rd, but neither fighter nor host will sign anything until then.

After promoters failed in their attempt to reach a deal, the WBC offered the highest ever purse bid to 33-year-old heavyweights.

Eddie Hearn was the frontman for PS23.6m, but Warren's winning offer was PS7m.

Fury will be awarded a staggering 80 percent of the purse. Whyte is appealing to him to give him only 20 percent.

Although Whyte has not been contracted to Hearn's Matchroom Boxing, he was represented by the promoter fight-by-fight.

Warren having won the purse bid, his fighter is owed the full lion share. It remains to be seen how Hearn will participate in the fight.

Hearn again fears for Whyte after seeing a deal between Fury and Anthony Joshua, 32.

He said to iFL TV, "In my heart of hearts I don't know if Tyson Fury will take this fight." This is honestly what I believe.
