He was undisputed champion at cruiserweight, before moving up to heavyweight. He is undefeated in 18 fights since turning pro.

It is not as if Usyk has ever tasted defeat, as he challenges Anthony Joshua on Saturday.

His most lopsided match came against Matvey Korobov, a Russian middleweight.

Korobov was so dominant that the Mercy Rule, which allows a referee to spare a boxer if he is being completely outclassed, was necessary.

Sky Sports reported that he said: "There was knockdown, there were a stoppage.

"I think I knocked him off his feet. Referee scored a knockdown. If I don't mistake, that was the end.

"The points stopped the third round, as I was many points ahead."

Usyk, aged 34, was able to leave the amateurs with a record 335-15. He also lost to Shawn Porter, welterweight, and unbeaten Russian powerhouse Artur Betterbiev.

His smooth southpaw style as a professional was unmatched. He moved up to heavyweight and was immediately made mandatory by the WBO.

For the unified crown at Tottenham Stadium's stadium, Joshua will be his opponent. Korobov insists that he can easily upset the applecart.

He stated that Joshua is taller than I think, but Usyk can handle this size.

Joshua can be beaten with ease with his speed and footwork. He's also a southpaw with his combinations.

It could be a short fight for either of them. It could be a tough fight or it could be an easy fight. You never know what you might find.

"That level, that punch, every punch, is deadly if it's thrown at the right time and in the right spot."
