Fury resigned after defeating Whyte in April, but he has already announced his return

After Oleksandr Usyk's victory over Anthony Joshua, he maintained that position for several more months before declaring that he would be back to defeat the Ukrainian.

Fury said that he wanted to give AJ an opportunity to fight him on Monday. The Morecambe-based boxer was reported to have offered Joshua a 40% split of the earnings.

Three weeks ago, he was quoted saying that "retirement rocks" and he now wants to face Joshua and Usyk.

Fury admitted that he was tired of being out of the sport very quickly and joked that no one believed him when he left.

The WBC champion spoke to The Ring magazine and said that he was bored by retirement.

"I tried the ring for five months and then decided to change my mind. They didn't believe me, but they did.

He stated that he would be a huge underdog so it's a win-win scenario.

"If everyone expects him lose, and he beats us, then he's back and bigger than ever.
