After talks to form a trio with Evander Holyfield fell apart, Mike Tyson was warned by his ex manager not to fight Jake Paul.
In November 2020, the youngest heavyweight champion in history made a shocking boxing return.

He won eight exhibition rounds along with Roy Jones Jr., 53, and was soon called out for additional cash-grab spectacle bouts.
Tyson, 56, has yet to fight again, and appeared prepared to make his surprise return in a one-off ring appearance.
Paul, a YouTuber turned boxer, campaigned to confront the American idol, who was over 30 years old.
Both boxing stars have made it possible to see what will be a blockbuster pay-per-view movie, despite their age differences.
Shelly Finkel is the Hall of Fame manager and worked with Tyson until his retirement in 2005.
SunSport's Finkel stated that he doesn't like the idea. Mike is the one who has his own opinion. If he asked me my opinion, I would tell him mine."
Paul is a well-known fighter since his January 2020 professional debut against "AnEsonGib", an online opponent.
Tyson's Undercard undercard saw him brutally knock out Nate Robinson (ex-NBA player), 11 months later.
Paul made it to the top by beating former UFC fighters Ben Askren (38), and Tyron Woodley (40).
He has yet to fight an opponent with a recognized boxing record after his cancelled bouts against Tommy Fury (23), and Hasim Rahman Jr (31).
Tyson has meanwhile continued to tease another fight by sharing training videos and pictures.
He was open to a rematch with Holyfield (59), who returned his fight last September.
Talk of the unwelcome trilogy was shattered by Vitor Belfort (ex-UFC champ), 45.
Finkel said: "He actually reached for me, and then we spoke about trying to put together the Holyfield fight.
"It never happened and Holyfield's look with the MMA guy made it seem like that, but it was over."
