Any lingering doubts were put to rest on Sunday in Las Vegas, with Fury again winning the race.
Lou DiBella, Wilder's promoter from 2015 to 2019, believes that the Alabama native will have a difficult time returning to the ring after the brutality of his losses.
The 61-year old tweeted, "I'm sure you can come back after two vicious beatings such as that in a row."
"I don’t believe so."
The New Yorker said that he didn't want to be kicked by his former accuser while he was down and added: "If Deontay can't, then I don't want to hear anything negative about Deontay’s legacy."
"He fell short against a man who is just as good."
Fury, an unbeaten British heavyweight champion, tried to console the Bronze Bomber, but was snubbed. Wilder then took aim at Wilder.
He also predicted that his rival would never put the gloves on again due to the mental or physical effects of the classic trilogy.
Fury stated after the fight, "That's all she wrote about Deontay Wilder."
"And I'll surprise if he ever boxes again."
"HE'LL HAVE MANY EXCUSES"
Fury made it clear that he does not expect the same from his long-time foe after the barrage of excuses following their second bout.
Behind the Gloves, he said: "I'm certain he'll be able to come up with a lot more excuses."
"He does it every time, he's a loser, and he always has Everlast MX on. I had Paffen Sport on, and the gloves were the exact same.
"His trainers were again in the changing rooms, they checked everything and there weren't any questions.
"He beat me square and square."
Fury dropped Wilder in third, and it looked like a simple repeat win.
