"I'm here for champ" - Otto Wallin promises to take Dillian Whyte’s world title shot against Tyson Fury in the O2 fight

OTTO WALLIN has vowed that he will take over Dillian Whyte’s world title shot against Tyson Fury, by defeating his heavyweight opponent.

The Gypsy King's WBC is mandatory for the Body Snatcher. He will be eligible to win the belt if he defeats the Swedish southpaw later in the month.

for the WBC title.
If Wallin beats Whyte, a WBC interim champion will be set up against the Gypsy King.

Wallin was defeated by the Mancunian in Las Vegas' 2019 affair. But Wallin is positive that London's O2 Arena will be a surprise.

The 33-year-old man has called Whyte, the 30-year-old, 'basic' and said he would put pressure on the heavy-handed Brixton bomber.

He spoke out on the Knuckles and Gloves podcast, commenting on the fight. "Whyte is a basic man - he has a decent jab and a good lefthook and is a great body puncher.

"He is an aggressive man, but he is very basic." I can tell you that I am not basic. I am a skilled fighter, with quick hands and fast feet.

"I don’t know if Dillian ever fought any southpaws during his career.

"Maybe he did it early on, but no one really at a very high level. He's different than many of the fighters that he's faced.

"I don’t want Dillian to feel comfortable in there. I want to make it difficult for him, like I did with Fury.

"If Dillian is defeated, they may grant a rematch. But that doesn't mean I am locked in to him. If I defeat him, I'll become the interim champion. Maybe then I can pursue Fury.

"I want to be a world champion in boxing." "I've been working hard to get to this point, but I don’t want to stop."

Whyte, Interim WBC Champ, has asked the governing body for permission to finally give him the chance to fight for a title in the world if he defeats Wallin.

Sky Sports News quoted him as saying that Fury holds the belt. [Deontay] Wilder was offered the opportunity to fight me for three more years, but he declined.

"Hopefully, now the WBC forces me to accept my position and Fury doesn't have any other choice. It's a huge British fight, and a major fight to Britain.

"Fury can be unpredictable and might even say, 'I'm done!

"I hope that we can fight once I get past Wallin. Fury is difficult to plan for. He hasn't spoken to me about fighting.

Before you add: "I would lie if I said that I wasn't looking at their faces. I'm definitely interested in fighting Fury.

"Wallin was a dangerous operator, he pushed Fury every step of the way.

If everything goes according to plan, I am interested in fighting Fury next. It's always up against me, and I love hard fights. It's something I am used to."
