CHRIS EUBANK JR believes "it could have easily kicked off" when Conor Benn, his rival, ran past him backstage at the Sport Industry Awards.
Although the pair met up earlier in the week, Eubank Jr., 32, believes that the meeting was intentionally set up.
Rumours of a second-generation mega-money bout between Eubank Jr. and Benn (25 years old) were rumored earlier in the year.
The fathers of the pair, Chris Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn, had a bitter rivalry in the 1990's.
Eubank Jr. has admitted that they met randomly, but he believes the encounter was "sneakily orchestrated".
The middleweight said to iFL TV, "Yeah we had a chat. They set it up, or someone else set it up.
