JAKE PAUL claims that boxing has freed him from years of rage against media and public scrutiny.
After being targeted at a young age, the American confessed that he had developed a lot hate and resentment towards the world.
Paul claims that boxing helped him release his accumulated aggression.
Boxing provided him with a means to release his aggression without being told "no".
Paul answered Pitch Boxing's question about whether boxing had changed his life.
"When you are 16 years old, you feel resentful and anxious.
"A lot hate towards the outside world when you're a target for media and comments and all that stuff.
"And so, it just felt like I had this aggression that I needed to unleash on people's faces It's a great feeling.
It's wonderful, and no one can say no. I can't believe anyone can say no.
"And that's what's so great about the sport is that I can do whatever the hell I want, be who I want to, and say whatever I want. That's liberating.
"We live in a world that requires you to be cautious about everything you do."
Tyron Woodley will soon be the next victim of Paul's aggression, and it will happen on Saturday.
Paul defeated the ex-UFC star in August by a split decision.
Tommy Fury was scheduled to face the 24-year-old, but the Brit pulled out at last minute due to an infection and a broken bone.
Woodley was able to step in for the rematch at short notice and could be eligible for a $500,000 bonus if he beats out YouTube's star.
BJ Flores, Paul's trainer, expects that the fight will not go to the finish.
SunSport reported that he said, "Jake is a lot happier now than he was August 29th. He's a lot more.
"And remember, he only started boxing a few months ago, so he quickly gets better.
He's only been boxing for two years so four months is 15% of his entire career. So he's improving a lot.
"It will be a hard fight. Tyron will be tough at the beginning. But we don't expect Tyron to go the distance this time.
"It will prove difficult for Tyron, with Jake's pace and the type of offense Jake is bringing, to keep up with Jake.
"It's going be a different fight and people will see it. Jake's pace will be extremely fast."
