A rehydration clause row is holding back an official announcement regarding Eubank Jr. vs Benn.

Benn normally competes at 147lbs. Chris Eubank Jr. has boxed at the super-middle limit at 168lbs. However, the pair will clash at 156lbs.

Eubank Jr will have to be restricted in regards to how heavy Eubank Jr can enter the ring that evening, to avoid a potentially dangerous mismatch.

To prevent fighters from gaining huge advantage over their opponents, the IBF sanctioning body requires that title fights be limited to 10 pounds.

Eubank Jr. could have a huge advantage over the smaller man, if there are no stipulations in this mouthwatering non title showdown.

Kell Brook and Amir Khan ended their decade-long welterweight dispute last February at a catchweight of 149lbs.

Paul is now joining the fray by attacking Eubank Jr. for trying to maintain an unfair advantage.

"Conor Benn dirty, b/c Chris Eubank doesn't want to have a huge size advantage fight night?" tweeted the American.

"No...just wants to fight fair and safely. Rahman can weigh in at any weight fight night.

"200 weigh in, 214 at noon fight day, any weight fight evening. Don't make excuses Jr."

Paul received a reply from Eubank Jr., offering to fight him after they have both finished their next fights.

The 32-year old replied, "Yo @jakepaul once you deal with Benn and you take care Rahman, how about you & I go a few rounds.

"I'll be in at 160, you can come in at any weight you like... Winner gets CANELO and don't worry, I ain’t no Tommy Fury... If I say ima to do something it gets done."

Benn was not pleased with Eubank Jr.'s confidence.

The 25-year old has made a vow to retire Eubank Jr., which will prevent a fight between Paul and him.

Benn stated, "You won't fight again once you've shared a ring with me. I will be your last fight!"
