Ex-boxing champion Carl Froch believes that Conor McGregor would be no match for Jake Paul in the ring, despite Paul's lack of boxing skills.
In recent years, McGregor has had feuds with both Jake Paul and Carl Froch. However, Froch still supports Paul and believes he would come out on top in a fight against McGregor. Speaking to CasinoAlpha, Froch questioned McGregor's motivation for fighting and suggested he should stick to celebrity matches rather than pursuing a crossover fight with Paul.
McGregor, who lost to Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match in 2017, has faced criticism from Froch. The ex-boxing champion commentated on the Mayweather-McGregor bout and has been unimpressed with McGregor's skills. Froch even claimed that he could beat Paul, who has been active in boxing, despite being retired for ten years.
Froch described Paul as a "performing clown" and expressed hope that he would eventually fade away from the boxing scene. He also noted that the lack of interest in Paul's fights is reflected in the fact that they are not on pay-per-view.
Despite Paul's lack of boxing prowess, Froch firmly believes that McGregor would be "absolutely slaughtered" if he were to face Paul in the ring.
