Jake Paul, the YouTuber-turned boxer, has once again called out Conor McGregor, but this time he believes McGregor will never step into the ring with him. Despite his continuous efforts to secure a fight with McGregor, Paul now feels that his skills and star power have surpassed that of the UFC legend.
Paul's Confidence and Frustration
Speaking to DAZN, Paul expressed his thoughts on a potential fight with McGregor, stating, "A fight between me and McGregor would be massive, entertaining, and fun. I would beat his ass, but he won't fight me." The YouTube star-turned-boxer reflected on how the situation has evolved, saying, "At this point, you can see how it went from me calling him out and that seeming crazy to me being bigger in the sport than he is, and him knowing my skill level is greater than his in such a short amount of time. Life is crazy."
McGregor's Boxing History
Conor McGregor, 35, has only had one professional boxing match to date. He crossed over to the ring in 2017 to face American legend Floyd Mayweather, 46, but was defeated. Since then, McGregor has primarily focused on his MMA career in the UFC.
Paul's Boxing Journey
Meanwhile, Jake Paul, 26, has been making waves in the boxing world. With a record of 7-1, he is set to step back into the ring this Friday against Andre August, who holds a record of 10-1-1. Paul's only loss so far came in February when he faced Tommy Fury, 24, in Saudi Arabia. Despite the setback, Paul made a comeback in August, defeating McGregor's old UFC rival Nate Diaz, 38, on points.

For his next fight, Paul will be taking on the relatively lesser-known August in a non pay-per-view bout. It seems that Paul is determined to gain more experience by going up against seasoned professionals, further solidifying his position in the sport.
