JAKE PAUL said he is a 'bigger and faster' man than Canelo alvarez and that he wants to fight the Mexican in three years.
Paul has been a long-standing supporter of the undisputed super-middleweight champion.
Jake Paul said he was 'bigger and faster than Canelo' Alvarez
On an ESPN appearance, the prizefighter-turned YouTuber was quizzed about his callout for Canelo. He was found to be unrealistic.
Paul said that he weighs 190lb (13st 5lb), while Canelo is 168lb (12st), which is nearly one-and-a half stone heavier.
Avni Yildirim (30), lasted just three rounds with Alvarez, in February 2021. The Turk was deemed his WBC mandatory competitor at that time.
Paul stated that "Other people try to place limits on you, when it's a unicorn doing some other thing."
"Other people try to limit what you can do and what you can achieve because of their mindsets and what they believe they can accomplish as human beings.
"But for me I can accomplish everything I set my mind too and I know that I can chase Canelo. He is my friend and I am able to go with him everywhere.

"I am bigger than Canelo and faster than Canelo. I'm also more athletic than Canelo. Can I box better than you? Most likely not.
"But, give me three more years and that's going be a big fight. Why not have the two most important names in boxing go after each other?
Paul's three year challenge to Canelo (a four-division champ) seems absurd, as the American has not yet faced a recognized boxer.
In December, he attempted to do so against Tommy Fury (22) but the Brit pulled it off with a broken bone and a chest infection.
Tyron Woodley, 39, an ex-UFC champion, replaced Fury four months after Paul lost to Paul on points and was then brutally knocked out.
This means that the social media sensation has won four of his five victories.
They are up against an online opponent, 'AnEsonGib,' ex-NBA player Nate Robinson (37), and Ben Askren (37), who is Woodley's former UFC welterweight.
Paul's criticism that he has faced only non-boxers thus far is still very significant, but he is currently in talks with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., an ex-middleweight champion of the world, 35.
He stated that he tried to fight Tommy Fury. He backed out after sustaining a rib injury when I tried to fight Tommy Fury.
"Undefeated, young prospect. His brother, the heavyweight champion in the world, is from Fury.
"I tried to fight him, but he became scared. He quit the fight. He is undefeated.
"Just because someone is a professional boxer doesn't mean that they can fight. I am going to take down all these guys.
"I'm trying fight Jacob, what's the name of his father?" Jacob Chavez Jr? Julio Cesar Chavez Jr? I don't even remember his name.
"The one who has the best day. "I'm trying to fight all of these guys."
