Next, Jake Paul will face Tyron Woodley on August 29
The next fight for the YouTuber will be against UFC star Tyron woodley on August 29.
Paul, as usual, insists that there is no chance he will lose the fight. He describes himself as a mental savage and a mental freak.
The Californian 24-year-old believes he is the one to carry the flag for the next generation of boxing fans.
The Problem Child spoke on The Last Stand Podcast and stated that he is on a path to becoming the most prizefighter in the entire world.
"For the children, I look like Mike Tyson. Your grandfather had Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson. Your dad had Floyd Mayweather. This generation has Jake Paul.
"So, if they want a highlight reel knockout, they want a part of viral conversation, so far, that is what they have received.
"I put on shows and do things differently."
Moments before Paul's April demolition of Ben Askren, Woodley's friend and good friend, the blue touch paper for Paul Bersus Woodley was ignited.
Woodley was left fuming after the heated exchange between them in the dressing room.
Their subsequent slanging match via social media has created the intriguing grudge match, which on paper is the most difficult fight in Paul's young boxing career.
Paul described the former UFC fighter as a "good striker." He is known for knocking out people. However, I believe that people should respect my name when Tyron beats me.
"But that's not why I'm here, to be truthful. I know who I am. This is not going to be an easy fight.
"That's why Showtime has partnered with me. You are looking to the future of boxing.
