Jake Paul called it the "biggest women’s boxing fight ever."

Eddie Hearn, Matchroom promoter, described it as the "greatest thing to happen in women's boxing" as Jake Paul announced the news via Twitter.

They were scheduled to face each other again in 2020, but the Covid-19 pandemic forced them to cancel their fight.

Taylor, the two-weight world champion in weightlifting, will finally be able to face Taylor, who has nine world titles and seven other weight classes.

Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions promotes Serrano. The YouTuber also tweeted the official fight poster, along with the following: "Biggest female fight in boxing history. We did it @Serranosisters @MostVpromotions.

"Thank you @KatieTaylor @TheGarden @EddieHearn @MatchroomBoxing @DAZNBoxing."

Taylor stated, "This fight is one I have longed for a long time. I'm excited for it to finally happen because these are fights that I love."

"People have been talking for years about this fight and there have been times when I wondered if it would ever happen. So I'm grateful to Eddie Hearn and everyone at Matchroom and DAZN for making it possible.

"When I became a professional, my goal was to participate in big events like this so to headline Madison Square Garden in an event of this magnitude is truly the pinnacle in the sport.

"It's an iconic venue that has hosted so many historic moments in boxing, and I believe this will be another one."

Hearn said: "Everyone talks of the largest fight in women's sboxing, but also one of the most important fights in boxing."

"We have been working hard on women's boxing for a while and I'm so happy that the fight was made at Madison Square Garden, the mecca of boxing.

They deserve all they get. Two trailblazers. It's going be a huge event with one undisputed champion and one seven-division champ.
