The YouTuber turned prizefighter is already 5-0 as boxer and has previously stated that he would leave the sport after only ten bouts.

The American believes he has just begun to get started, and has already reached the halfway point.

Paul, 24, said to Boxing with Chris Mannix, "It's so fascinating because, at the start of the year I was like, ‘Oh, I’ll go 10-0, then retire.

"But in a flash of an eye, all that happened was that I became 5-0. It feels like I've just completed my rookie season, and I'm only halfway through the first chapter of the book.

"There's still so much I can read. And because I'm young and motivated, I keep getting better and better.

"With every fight, I realize how far I can go and I knew that the competition would level out with each fight.

"I was motivated by the fact that people were watching me lose.

"It's strange to try to map it out, but I want to be undefeated and then retire.

"So that's whether it's 10 fights or 15 fights - I guess we'll find out, I guess."

Paul has beaten every opponent he has encountered. He sparked Tyron woodley, 39 in December, four years after he had won on points.

It was added to KO's by YouTuber 'AnEsonGib, an ex-NBA player Nate Robinson (37), and Ben Askren (37).

Paul has yet to face an opponent who has previous professional boxing experience.

This was to be Tommy Fury (22), the brother of Tyson (33), the WBC heavyweight champion.

He pulled out of the accident with a fractured rib and a bacterial chest infection. Woodley was able to fill in for him on a short notice.

Paul, now 35, is ready to leave Fury behind and favors a fight against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., ex-middleweight champion of the world.

He stated, "I like that fight because it silences critics.

"He was a former champion world and I know that I can beat him. This challenge excites and motivates me.

"Even after they knocked out Woodley, they were like fight a real fighter' and I'm like ‘You guys, I tried. But he [Tommy Fury] dropped from the fight two weeks prior'.

"I want to fight real boxers and I'm going, but I need some f **ing patience."
