JAKE PAUL lashed out at the 'embarrassing’ performance-enhancing drug accusations and claimed that the allegations were 'excuses for his wins.
YouTuber Tyron Woodley, ex-UFC champion, is now 3-0 as a fighter. He will be facing him in his fourth and most important fight on August 29.
Jake Paul denies 'embarrassing’ allegations of performance-enhancing drugs
Firas Zahabi, a MMA coach, claimed that Paul was 'gonna be on PEDs' before the event began. This accusation was laughed off by the YouTuber.
Paul replied to The Last Stand podcast with: "Yeah, so I woke up just a few mornings ago and my manger sent me this headline and said, "Hey, hope you see that."
"So, I swiped up my phone and typed "what are PEDs" into the search bar. They have so many excuses, it is hilarious.
"People said Ben Askren was going to beat Jake Paul, but Nate Robinson is the betting favourite because he is a YouTuber."
They know that I'm coming to their UFC champion five times, and they have tried to find any excuse.
"It's a professional fight with drug testing and commissions, so how do these people come up with that?"
"I take it as a compliment, as I make light work of them, and they are running short of excuses."
Paul, 24 has defeated 'AnEsonGib,' an online rival, former NBA star Nate Robinson, 37 and Ben Askren, 37.
Woodley, 39 years old, will be putting up a tough fight when they headline in Cleveland.
Both fighters will be required to urinate before and after their bout by the Ohio Athletic Commission.
Zahabi, who is well-known for his coaching of Georges St-Pierre in the UFC, still claims that Paul will not be allowed to use PEDs.
On his YouTube channel, he stated that "that's one my number one factors." Jake Paul is my favorite, they're going to be on all kinds of substances.
"I was holding back. I didn't want it to be said. They don't test, I think.
"Maybe it's the week before the fight, but there's not USADA, and I didn’t want to say, but I believe that's a significant factor.
"When I tell my guys that he is bigger, stronger, and more athletic, I think he's going to be on PEDs.
"I hate to admit it, but Jake Paul is going to be on PEDs.
"It exists in boxing, just as it does in MMA. I don't believe Tyron will be using PEDs."
"I believe Tyron will be completely natural. It makes a big difference. It does.
