New Coaches, New Strategies
Jake Paul is gearing up for the biggest fight of his life, and he's not taking any chances. The YouTuber-turned-boxer has brought in a secret weapon to help him prepare for his upcoming bout against ex-UFC star Nate Diaz in Texas. Paul, who suffered his first professional defeat against Tommy Fury in February, is determined to get his career back on track and came prepared with an all-new coaching team.
Stepping Up the Game
In his bid to improve his work rate, Paul recruited strength and conditioning coach Larry Wade, who has proven to be a game-changer for the boxer. Paul credits Wade for getting him "fight ready" like none of his previous coaches. The intensity of his training camp has significantly increased, with Paul now going through grueling 20 to 25-round sessions and jogging afterwards. The extra effort has paid off, as Paul believes he can now fight "forever".

A Revamp After Defeat
After his loss to Fury, Paul made some major changes to his coaching team. Former cruiserweight contender BJ Flores and co-trainer Danny Smith were replaced by boxing legend Shane Mosley and Theotrice Chambers. Paul feels more motivated than ever and believes that the defeat reset him on the right path. He's now feeling better, stronger, and in the best shape of his life, with a team that he couldn't be happier with.
The Gratitude for Opponent's Victory
Instead of harboring resentment towards Fury for his defeat, Paul expresses gratitude. He believes that the loss put his life back on track and set him in the direction he was supposed to be. With a newfound conviction, Paul is ready to prove himself against Diaz and showcase his boxing skills to the world.
