JAKE PAUL is reviving his verbal war with Conor McGregor. This time, he has taken aim at McGregor's wages.
McGregor was first targeted by the YouTuber 14 months ago with a series expletive-filled videos. He stopped his search after seeing McGregor break his leg last July.
After seeing Israel Adesanya praise Israel's UFC contract
, the YouTuber attacked The Notorious
Paul however put McGregor back into his crosshairs by mentioning McGregor in his Dana White "diss track" last month.
He mocks the earnings of the former two-division champion by saying they pale in comparison with Tyson Fury, WBC heavyweight champion.
McGregor had congratulated UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya on his new bumper deal. Paul tweeted: "Indeed well earned [sic]" for Izzy, but Tyson Fury still makes a lot more than you both combined for fighting.
McGregor was then asked by the Problem Child to speak out on fighter pay in UFC.
He asked him: "Conor? When are you going to [sic] get started playing your part in getting ALL fighters better healthcare and pay?"
McGregor, who has not yet responded to Paul, saluted Adesanya for her new bumper deal and said: "Congratulations Paradigm Sports Management Agency.
"Number 1 & 2 are the highest-paid UFC contract employees.
"Myself and Izzy. A great feather in the cap for an incredible sports agency. @ParadigmSports!
"Congratulations to my entire team, and a huge congrats to Israel last night."
McGregor, 33 years old, is currently preparing for a possible return to the UFC in the summer.
The Irishman shattered his left leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier last July but has made a faster-than-anticipated recovery.
Paul is currently playing the role as promoter for Amanda Serrano's clash against Katie Taylor, but he is looking to make a September return.
During an appearance on The MMA Hour he stated that "there's a lot happening in other aspects"
"I will be doing these press conferences in the next two weeks to promote Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano. I am also very busy with my venture capital fund on the business side.
"So, I haven’t even been back to the gym or trained at all.
"I would suggest August-September, but I need to talk with my coaches. Perhaps later. It's something I'm working on.
"Obviously, if the stars align or I have a change in heart, then things could move around. But right now I don’t feel motivated to go back into another training camp.
