JAKE PAUL announced his retirement from boxing less than 48 hours after he claimed to have given up on his gloves.
He was a social media star and pulled the curtains down on his boxing career just 24 hours after his split victory over Tyron Woodley, former UFC welterweight champion.
After beating Tyron Woodley last weekend, Jake Paull announced that he would be retiring from boxing.
He tweeted, "Updated status: Retired Boxer."
The Problem Child, however, has made a U-turn regarding his retirement from sweet science. He tweeted: "Updated status : I'm coming out.
Paul's short retirement was not surprising as he spoke up about potential fights following his narrow win over Woodley.
Victory over Woodley saw Paul, a YouTuber and boxer, increase his professional record from 0 to 4.
Woodley was furious and demanded a rematch. He said: "I feel that if that were the second largest pay-perview, then round two will be bigger than that."
"I feel like I won this fight. Jake is a great opponent. This is why I am in such great shape.
"It is absurd that one judge gave me two rounds.
"No disrespect, Jake and I need to win that fight with Tommy Fury, Jake and me."
Paul, 24 replied: "Get the tattoo, and we'll return it.
"We have the tattoo artist right here so you aren't going anywhere."

Woodley agreed immediately to ink the tatt on his skin, and has asked Paul to honor his side of the fight agreement.
During an appearance on The MMA Hour he stated: "He's trying out to back off of it. "He's being a coward. I'm calling out you: You're being coward.
"I am willing to be a man, and honor my contract. He signed a new agreement, as he is the one who makes the bets.
"Now, the bet blew in your face. Let's do it. I'm willing to do it.
"If I have to get my own tattoo artist I think I'm sliding down to L.A., so let's get cracking.
"But, I need to see some paperwork because he and his manager are getting real [shady].
"He said to me, "Tyron, give me your word."
"This is what Nakisa [Paul representative] Bidarian told me: 'Tyron. I give you my words.
"And he has been solid -- he has never told me one thing without being solid about it."
"I felt a lot of love and affection for Nakisa. He said, "If you get the tattoo tonight we'll give to you the rematch." I replied, "Bet. Let's do it.
