JAKE PAUL stated that he would like to be a WORLD CHAMPION in order to prove those who doubted him wrong about his ability to fight, that he was 'not a fighter'.
The YouTuber is now 3-0 in his career, but has not faced any opposition.
He beat internet rival AnEsonGib, an ex-NBA player Nate Robinson (37), and most recently, Ben Askren (37),
Paul, however, will face a class step-up when he returns to the ring against Tyron Woodley (39), on Sunday, August 29.
Woodley will headline the show in Cleveland, where he also spoke to Stipe Miocic (38), a former UFC heavyweight champion.
Paul, despite not having to face a seasoned boxer, laid out lofty goals of winning world honors in the ring on Miocic’s podcast.
He stated, "I want to be a world champion."
"Just because - I don’t necessarily want the belt. But I want to be like, 'Yeah. People said I wasn’t a fighter, and then I became world champion'.
"What can they possibly say? It's crazy to see how fickle and strange the audience can be.
Paul defeated Askren, a renowned grappler and limited striking partner of Woodley's, in the first round of April.
It was Miocic who won the Golden Gloves for amateurs that was most impressed by the social media phenomenon.
Paul was told by him: "Someone asked about me in an interview. I replied, 'He is getting better'. That was frightening.
"He's just starting out in this sport, and he's improving so fast. When you fought Ben, I thought Ben was tough. He's fought the best fighters and never got knocked down.
"But it's not a fight, and you were getting stronger, and look at what happened."
