Jake Paul, the controversial YouTube star turned boxer, recently revealed that he had a lengthy phone call with Tommy Fury, the brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, to negotiate a rematch. However, Paul expressed concerns that Fury may be making "excuses" to avoid the fight.
Talks of a Rematch
After two years of feuding, Jake Paul and Tommy Fury finally faced off in a celebrity boxing match in February, which Fury won by split decision. Since then, Paul has bounced back with two victories, including a points win against former UFC star Nate Diaz and a knockout victory over boxer Andre August.
In the aftermath of his win against August, Paul revealed that negotiations for a rematch with Fury were back underway. However, he expressed frustration with the focus on money, which could potentially hinder the fight from happening.
Paul said on his podcast, "We had calls with him, had an hour-long call with him and the whole entire thing was just kind of this thing, 'Oh, more money, more money, more money.' When he's not getting more money by fighting anybody else and we have an amazing offer out there for him and it's kind of just these excuses after excuses."

Despite his concerns, Paul remains optimistic about the potential rematch. He believes that his skills have improved since his loss to Fury and is ready to prove himself in the ring once again.
Bitter Feud and Fury's Next Fight
Tommy Fury, who followed up his win against Paul with a victory over KSI, Paul's arch-rival, has had his fair share of controversy in the boxing world. The build-up to his fight with KSI was filled with animosity, culminating in KSI spitting on Fury's father and coach, John Fury.
The incident has left John Fury adamant that a rematch with KSI will not be entertained. He stated, "The only man that's not welcome at the table is not a man, is him. What do you call him? KSI. He is not welcome, not now, not ever. He is done."
John Fury further expressed his disdain for KSI, stating that there is too much bad blood between them and that no amount of money could entice him to do business with the YouTube star turned boxer.

Meanwhile, Tommy Fury continues to build his boxing career and is open to facing other opponents who are willing to step into the ring with him.
It remains to be seen whether the rematch between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury will materialize, but the anticipation and excitement surrounding the potential fight are undeniable.
