Jake Paul says he will fight again to make up for Anthony Joshua's decision not to take on Tyson Fury.

JAKE PAUL has promised to return to the ring in this year's long-awaited match between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

The eagerly awaited Battle of Britain was scheduled to take place last month in Saudi Arabia, but was stopped when Fury was told to fight Deontay Wilder in a three-fight series.

Paul intends to return to make amends for Joshua vs Fury's collapse

Paul, a YouTuber and boxer, wants to alleviate the pain of Joshua Vs Fury's collapse by lacing his gloves once again before the year ends.

During an appearance on The MMA Hour he stated: "I believe boxing needs to me fight again this year."

COVID is preventing a lot of big fights. They won't be able to make Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury.

"Boxing is a sport that needs me to be back in the ring, and I feel a responsibility for helping this sport grow."

Paul, a former Disney star, was last seen in action against Tyron Woodley in August.

To extend his professional record to 4, The Problem Child, 24 won a split decision over Woodley.

Paul, along with Logan, has caused a split in the boxing community. Many believe they are making a mockery out of the sport.

Joshua, the unified heavyweight champion and who is preparing for a showdown against Oleksandr Usyk, disagrees. He said of Jake: "[He] is] great for boxing.

"He's trying, no amateur experience, and throwing himself into the deep end.

He'll likely learn a lot more than many fighters by throwing himself into the deep end and putting himself under tremendous pressure.

"Good luck to him."

Fury agrees with Joshua, telling iFL TV that "a lot of people believe all this YouTube stuff to be crap and they don’t want all these boxers in their ring."

"But I'm heavyweight champion and one of the greatest fighters that ever lived, and I love to watch these YouTubers fight.

"I love to see it because it brings millions of eyes to my sport, where I'm the champion.

"And just as general people would not watch boxing, they watch it because of YouTube guys Love Island and TikTokers.

Boxing is better when there are more people watching it. It also makes it easier for young fighters to learn how to box.

Jake Paul says he will fight again to make up for Anthony Joshua's decision not to take on Tyson Fury.

"If TikTokers and other stuff are watched by millions, then people might tune in again to see real boxing later in their lives."

It's all fine, it's just PR for our sport. It's all good, but it's just jealous that they're not making the same amount of money.

"That's the essence of jealousy. People are jealous of others who try to live their dreams, and they don't have enough courage to do so.
