Jake Paul says Logan, his brother, warned him to not replace Tommy Fury by Hasim Rahman Jr. in fear of being KNOCKEDOUT

JAKE PAUL says his brother Logan and manager advised him not to fight Hasim Rahman Jr.

After the August 6 fight against Tommy Fury, Rahman Sr. was cancelled, Paul was announced as Rahman Sr., his son.

Paul will face the 12-1 fighter for the first time and he will also be facing the first heavyweight.

The YouTuber turned fighter is not intimidated by the challenge and believes that he has what it takes to win.

Paul shared details of the event in an Instagram post, writing: "I've wanted to fight since Hasim ran my big mouth to me two year ago in the gym.

"My manager and brother didn't want me taking on this fight. They told me it was too risky.

"The New York state athletic commissioner didn't approve the fight because Hasim was too experienced for me. He has over 100 amateur fights. He has 10x more amateur fights than Tommy (Fury).

"But I'm built different. I'm psychotic. CHAOTIC. PROBLEMATIC.

They said, "But he's heavyweight." They can't hit me. I'm the fighter flea. I'm slippery as butter, and I have speed like none other. My style is elegant and my power is unmatched. I have made even the most difficult men weak.

"I don't fear any man, or what "can" happen. This risk has never been taken by a boxer in this stage of their careers. They don’t have my heart. They don’t have mine. You are invited to history. Take a photo.

Paul and Rahman share a history. They had a heated altercation 18 months ago after a sparring session.

The 25-year old is now familiar with Rahman, believing he is faster and bigger than Fury.

He described Rahman's sparring session with him as "really tough", "a war" and "really really tough".

Paul stated that Paul was clearly a much bigger person than I was at the time.

"It's very interesting to deal. I am a much better fighter now. He's definitely a better fighter now, I'm certain. We will see which fighter has made the most progress over the past 18 months.
