Jake Paul says Tommy Fury is a 'delusional' fighter and urges Love Islander to confront Tyron Woodley.

JAKE PAUL said that he will not fight Tommy Fury, and asked his boxing rival to "get some clout" and face Tyron Woodley.

They were due to compete for bragging rights and an unbeaten record in a grudge match on December 18.

Fury was suffering from a chest infection, and a broken rib, so Fury left with less than two weeks notice.

He called to cancel his fight with YouTube star in March, but was told instead to earn it by challenging him.

Paul stated on The MMA Hour that Paul is delusional and has kind of missed his chance.

"I kind of want him fight Tyron Woodley to see what happens.

"Because Tyron would knock Tommy out of his chair, so, I almost wish they fight.

"Tommy, people know him only because of me. So I want him go get some of his own fans or clout or do something else.

"Then, perhaps we could run it again after that."

Four months after his loss to Paul on points in round four, Woodley was called in for a late-notice match but was brutally eliminated in round six.

The internet celebrity has defeated every opponent with whom he has shared a ring.

It was a result of prior KO's by YouTuber "AnEsonGib", ex-NBA player Nate Robinson (37), and former UFC welterweight Ben Askren (37).

Paul will still be able to face an opponent who has previous professional boxing experience, even though Fury has withdrawn.

He named Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., an ex-middleweight champion of the world, as a boxing opponent who makes financial sense, despite criticisms from opposition.

Paul stated that there aren't many boxers with a name big enough to make the event interesting enough.

"It would basically mean that fighting for the world title is the only fight that would make a sale, and I don’t even know the name of the cruiserweight champion.

"I believe Canelo was meant to fight him, but it just doesn’t make sense. This is my sixth fight, and this man's a world champ.

"So no one really has a bigger name in boxing than Chavez Jr."
