JAKE PAUL will be sparring with 'top' light-heavyweights and cruiserweights in his fight against Tommy Fury. His coach stated that he can'really punch'.
Fury will face Paul over eight rounds in a 192lb catchweight fight on December 18, Florida.
Jake Paul and Nikita Ababiy, an unbeaten American
He will be fighting his fifth opponent, but it will be his first fight against a professional boxer.
Paul made his debut January 2020. He has placed an emphasis on sparring and used his celebrity status to attract top names in the gym.
This camp was his second in Puerto Rico. 10-0 Nikita Abuabiy, 23-year-old YouTube star, is the latest to train with him.
BJ Flores, Paul's trainer, told BoxingScene that they are less than five weeks away from the event and the closer it gets the happier Jake will be.
"Look, Jake has big advantages in this matchup.
"Jake has been sparring with top fighters all over the USA for hundreds of rounds, and has gained hundreds of rounds to prepare for fights like this.
"The one constant among all sparring partners is that Jake can punch."

Paul beat YouTuber "AnEsonGib", ex-NBA star Nate Robinson (37), and Ben Askren (37).
In August, however, the American improved his record to 4-0 by winning eight rounds against Tyron Woodley (ex-UFC champion), 39.
Fury, 22 beat Anthony Taylor, 32 to make it 7-0. This set up the megafight.
Paul, 24, will be entering his third pay per view main-event. The Love Island star for 2019 is more experienced than the less-experienced boxer.
He is also slightly taller than Fury, who has fought at light-heavyweight most of his career.
Flores stated: "We really hope Tommy does the things he said he would do, and that he gets to the middle and tries to bang on Jake.
Jake is big on strength, size, and power. Flores said Tommy will find it difficult to take the first punch cleanly.
"Jake has been sparring over the past eight weeks with top cruisers in America and light heavys throughout the last 24 months.
He is ready to go now. It's important to keep him sharp and make sure he's at his peak on December 18th.
