JAKE PAUL will be sparring a former world champion three times before he faces Hasim Rahman Jr.
He was to face Tommy Fury at Madison Square Garden's August 6 match.
Jake Paul is facing the latest challenge in his boxing career
Rahman, the older boxer, has been drafted in as a late replacement
The former Love Island star had no choice but to withdraw from the bout due to visa problems.
Paul will now face Hasim Rahman Jr. It has been revealed that he sparred with Chad Dawson, an ex-champ, before the fight.
Dawson has probably been giving advice to the Youtuber ahead of what is expected to be one of his toughest bouts in boxing.
Dawson was the lightweight champion three times during his career and was highly-regarded in that division in late 2000s.
He won against Tomasz Adamek and became the WBC light-heavyweight champion in 2007.
After beating Antonio Tarver, he won the IBF title and IBO title in 2008.
He also clashed with Adonis Stevenson, and fought twice with Bernard Hopkins.
After the sparring session, Paul hopes that some of Dawson's boxing prowess will rub off on him. CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CUSTOMER SIGN UP DEALS
In his 40-year-old career, he eventually won 36 and lost only 5 games.
He was pictured with Paul in the ring, just days before Rahman Jr. goes toe-to–toe with him.
This will be the sixth professional fight for Paul brother, and he has not lost a fight so far.
The 25-year old is trying to beat his more experienced opponent, who has a 12-1-0 record.
After previously competing at heavyweight, he has lost a lot of weight in order to fight Paul.
After it was revealed that the fight would be televised, fans were left disappointed.
