Jake Paul Sets Sights on MMA Debut with PFL
YouTuber-turned boxer Jake Paul is gearing up for his MMA debut with the Professional Fighters League (PFL). Following his ten-round points win over ex-UFC star Nate Diaz in August, Paul and the PFL have proposed a lucrative $15m (£12.5m) rematch in the cage.
The Saga Continues: Diaz Prefers Boxing Ring
Despite the offer, Diaz has shown little interest in an MMA rematch and instead wants to face Paul in the boxing ring. Not one to back down, Paul took the opportunity to taunt Diaz, claiming that he has better wrestling skills and can out-punch him.
Paul's Return to the Boxing Ring
While the potential rematch with Diaz hangs in the balance, Paul is set to return to the boxing ring on December 15th. He will be facing Andre August, a relatively unknown 10-1-1 pro boxer, as he aims to climb up the world championship rankings.
Pursuing Greatness in Boxing
Paul, who suffered his first defeat in February against Tommy Fury, is determined to become a world champion in boxing. He expressed his desire to face seasoned fighters to build his experience in the ring and prove his greatness. The upcoming fight on December 15th will be broadcast live on DAZN.
