Jake Paul to face Nate Diaz after boxing victory

Internet Sensation Jake Paul is Ready for Round Two Against Nate Diaz

After their boxing match earlier this year, Jake Paul and Nate Diaz are set to go head-to-head once again, but this time in a mixed martial arts bout. In their previous encounter, Paul emerged victorious with a unanimous decision in Dallas.

A Potential Rematch in the Works

Just recently, Paul hinted at a potential return to the ring, targeting a fight with a professional boxer on December 15. However, Most Valuable Promotions has announced that Paul has accepted an offer from the Professional Fighters League (PFL) for an MMA fight against Diaz.

From the Boxing Ring to the SmartCage

Paul, who signed a contract with the PFL earlier this year, will now make his debut in the promotion's "Super Fight" division. As part of the deal, the YouTuber also acquired equity in the company. The rematch with Diaz will take place in the PFL's state-of-the-art SmartCage.

Fan Reactions

News of the rematch has generated mixed reactions from fans. While some are excited to see Paul back in action, others remain skeptical. One fan commented, "I got Paul by KO," while another expressed respect for Paul. However, there are those who doubt whether the bout will actually happen.

Diaz's UFC Departure and Impressive Record

Nate Diaz, who left the UFC last year, is currently a free agent. His submission victory over Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 marked his 16th win in the promotion, bringing his professional MMA record to 21-13. If the rematch with Paul comes to fruition, it will be the internet star's MMA debut, although he boasts an impressive 7-1 boxing record with four knockouts.
