JAKE Paul has attacked Nate Diaz, after the UFC star made a slam of Ben Askren's boxing skills after he had praised the YouTuber.

The former MMA ace was knocked out by the 24-year-old in the first round of April, to record his third consecutive win inside the squared circle.

After Ben Askren claimed that Paul was 'kinda good,' Nate Diaz took aim at Ben Askren.

This was to be the ex-Disney actor’s most difficult fight since turning professional. But he silenced all his critics in emphatic style.

Paul defeated Tyron Woodley, former UFC Welterweight Champion in a split decision in August.

Askren, 37 years old, admitted that he was shocked by Paul's qualities when he appeared on Lex Freidman’s podcast.

He stated that he had said the following: "So, what I said when I went into to fight Jake Paul was maybe he is good or maybe not. You know, we really don't know.

"I knew Tyron was much better at boxing than me.

"I thought there was a good chance that Tyron would beat Jake up, but there is also a chance that Jake might be kind of good at this.

"I think what happened is that he's kinda good at it.

"And if I had to see it the way that I did, it was still very impressive and he has clearly put a lot time into it. He's not bad, that's what I will say.

UFC welterweight Diaz took aim at Askren for his views. He tweeted: "Coming to you from a retired wrestler that can't box or fight."

Paul then interjected, comparing Diaz's 13 defeats in the octagon with Askren's 2.

He said, "You have six-times as many losses than Ben Askren." Let this sink in.

Diaz responded, "He sucks Jake"

"You can't fight boxing matches only with wrestlers." Let that sink in.

Paul is currently getting ready for the Florida match against Tommy Fury next month.

He has also vowed to embarrass Fury's family while he attempts to destroy TNT.

He stated, "One month until December 18th. A complete embarrassment for the Fury family.

"Mark your calendars to see history in Tampa."
