Jake Paul will fight Tommy Fury one week before Christmas
SunSport exclusive revealed that the fight had been booked for this date last week, and it is now official.
Paul, 24 couldn't resist taking a shot at Fury, 22-year-old ex-star of Love Island, when he announced the fight on Friday night.
On Instagram, he wrote: "It is finally official. Timothy signed the contract because he couldn't refuse to pay his bar tabs and buy a shirt for the club. He also wanted to stop living off Molly.
"December 18, Tampa Bay, I'm changing this w***er to Tommy Fumbles, and celebrating with Tom Brady.
"Pucker up Timmy... It's time for you to say goodbye to your family's boxing legacy and last name."
Paul became a professional in January 2020, defeating an online rival 'AnEsonGib’ in one round. 11 months later, he defeated ex-NBA star Nate Robinson (37).

Fury is now 7-0. He debuted in 2018 to much fanfare thanks to Tyson, his older brother and WBC heavyweight champion.
He rose to fame a year later after finishing second in the hit reality TV series Love Island with his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague.
The light-heavyweight has faced little opposition from journeymen, which is a common occurrence for boxers in the early days of their careers.
He signed a 2-fight deal with Showtime in the US and made his Stateside debut against Taylor, an MMA fighter.
After months of viral goading and trash talk, the second part of the deal will see Paul fight him.
