JAKE PAUL's fight against Tyron Woodley was "bombed" at the box office, with less than 65,000 sales.
Paul defeated Woodley who had only two weeks to prepare after replacing Tommy Fury with an injured Tommy Fury. He was then knocked out in the sixth round.
Steven Muehlhausen from DAZN says that less than 65,000 people viewed the second fight of the YouTuber with the MMA star on pay-per view.
This is lower than the professional wrestling promotion AEW’s Full Gear show last month.
Muehlhausen tweeted "Sources: I have learned that Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley 2 were "bombed", on cable/satelitte [sic]PPV.
"Numbers below November's #AEW Full Gear, which saw under 65,000 TV-views per month. Streaming numbers are not known."
After his August victory over Woodley, Paul boasted about his PPV numbers.
Although the YouTuber claimed that it had made 1.5 million purchases, it didn't actually make it past 500,000.
He is undefeated and has won every fight since he switched to boxing last January.
The 24-year-old has not faced a professional boxer, but has shared the ring instead with a YouTuber, a former NBA player, and two MMA veterans.
Stephen A. Smith, a boxing pundit, called Paul a joke and believes that Paul is conning the public.
Smith says he needs to now step in with a legitimate boxer in order to prove his worth in ring.
