BJ Flores, his coach, has announced that JAKE PAUL will be entering his brief-notice rematch against Tyron Woodley at career-light weight.
Paul will be rekindling his rivalry with the former UFC Welterweight Champion early Sunday morning in Tampa, Florida.
Paul has made significant cuts for the rematch
The Problem Child has seen a significant reduction in his behavior for his third year of the year. He now plans to be more aggressive.
The Wade Concept YouTube channel was informed by Coach: "Jake has a lot of chip on his shoulders from the Tyron fight. He does.
"He has been very diligent and, instead of celebrating the money or any other achievements on his last fight, he returned to the gym.
He started to work hard, so we switched some things up. He'll come in lighter for the fight, he will be faster, more aggressive.
"His output will be quicker and we can still move the fight, but it's going be a different Jake Paul.
"So it's exciting for me and Jake can't wait get in there. It doesn't really matter against whom."
Paul's slimmer frame is due to him changing his strength and conditioning coach.
Flores said: "We brought in an experienced strength and conditioning coach, and we're going to roll. This is great.
"We are still working with the same coach and he still helps us out, but we have a new guy who's increasing our fitness and strength and power."
"We have a dietician for Jake to ensure his health and performance.
"We dialled that in this camp. We got his blood tested and all the other things to ensure he eats foods that are compatible with his blood type.
"We made sure everything was in order to ensure that he is ready to perform.
"We have it dialed in, he could go 10 round right now!"
Paul, 24 won by a split decision over Woodley at their August Flores showdown. Flores however is positive that the fight will not go the distance the second time.
SunSport reported that he said to Jake, "Jake is a lot happier now than he was August 29th. He's a lot more."
"And remember, he only started boxing a few months ago, so he quickly gets better.
He's only been boxing for two years so four months is 15% of his entire career. So he's improving a lot.
"It will be a hard fight. Tyron will be tough at the beginning. But we expect Tyron to not go the distance this year."
