JAKE PAUL will not enter the UFC Octagon because he has 'found his lane’ boxing mixed martial artists fighters.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer started to tease a move for the MMA world prior to his viral KO against Tyron Woodley last Dec. and has continued flirting with the idea of entering the cage.
Jake Paul teased a switch to mixed martial arts for several months
.
Paul has been begging Dana White, UFC president, to allow him to step foot in the octagon. But Daniel Cormier, a former two-division champion, doesn't believe he's serious.
Cormier, Monster Energy ambassador, stated: "I don’t believe he’s going to fight MMA. Right?
"He has found his niche with mixed martial artists athletes in boxing. He will fight against guys who aren't as challenging to him.
"He is making a lot of money and fighting safe fights. I don't understand why he would change that."

"And I don’t think he being smart businessman will enable him to enter an arena where he doesn’t really have a chance."
"He's now a high school wrestler. Right.
"So he has wrestled in his past, but the level is now so high that he would have some real problems."
Paul is determined to land a big fight with Conor McGregor, UFC's superstar. White recently tweeted White: Dana -- Since you like me now. How about a 1-fight deal to face Conor.
"If I win, you will accept my UFC fighter pay and UFC healthcare proposal.
"If I lose, my entire purse will be donated to UFC fighters making less than [$50,000] per fight. I will never refer to UFC again." Deal?"
White was irritated by Paul's persistent pestering, and he offered him the opportunity to compete in MMA’s premier promotion.
Sky Sports received White's statement: "I made an offering to him.
"He was talking s**t. He refused to listen to me. It's all fine.
He says that there will always be a market for his products. There will always be a market for what he has to offer.
"This is not the place!"
Paul, 25, hasn’t been in the ring since Woodley’s sixth-roundKO of Woodley. However, he is apparently looking forward to a September return.
