Jake Paul would love to have Mairis Breidis as a mentor
Sauerland believes Paul would be afraid after seeing highlights of the Latvian's chilling knockouts.
Breidis, however, has had "JAKE'S BAD KARMA" inked on his leg in order to secure a big pay-day as a social media star.
Sauerland was stunned by the tattoo and spoke out to talkSPORT Boxing. "He sent it to him, the day before it went public, and I must confess, I was a bit overwhelmed.
"It is funny and he must be understood. He's now preparing for his mandatory defense, which he must do.
"It will [Jay] Opetaia. He is a tough opponent, and he has earned the right fight him. He is a former world champion.
"So people are saying that he's after Jake Paul...yeah, right!"
He is a three-time World Champion who won the World Boxing Super Series in order to unify the belts. That part is easy to forget, he sees it as a business opportunity!
Breidis has been openly mocked by Sauerland about Paul's attempt to become the Ring Magazine and IBF champion at 200lbs.
