BOXING legend Ricky Hatton is concerned that Jake Paul might not allow Tommy Fury to fight him again after the Brit pulled out.
Fury and Paul were originally set to face off on December 18, but Fury pulled out due to injuries and a severe chest infection.
Hatton worries Fury might not be able to fight Paul again
Paul will now face former UFC fighter Tyron Whiteley. Hatton is concerned that Fury may not be given another chance at a fight by the YouTuber turned boxer.
Hatton wrote for Metro: "It is a shame, and I certainly hope Tommy doesn't lose his chance. It is up to Jake Paul, though, that the ball may be in his hands going forward.
Tommy may be able to get another chance if he decides to fight Tommy.
"But there's a risk. Paul could turn around and say: 'F**k It, you've lost the chance.
"I feel that it might happen, but I hope not for Tommy"
Hatton believes that Tyson Fury's influence and dad John's will eventually lead to the fight being rescheduled.
Fury attributed the reason for his withdrawal to a broken rib, and severe cold.
This news was soon after Fury shared video clips on social media showing Tyson, his brother, slamming medicine balls into Tommy's ribs.
Hatton continued by saying: "There's been some speculation that the injury may have been caused by those training sessions, when Tyson was bouncing medicine balls off Tommy in the gym.
It is possible. Floyd Mayweather Snr did a similar thing to me.
Dad John, who is 17stone overweight, has claimed that Tommy was a complete idiot and he smashed Tommy's ribs with an 'bare knuckle punch'.
John, a vocal man, has called for Paul to fight his son March and threatened to sue if he isn't satisfied.
Fury stated, "He [Paul] sucked the life out Fury's name for three months. He's had his fair share of money."
"But I'll tell ya what Jake Paul, if you're any type of man at all mate let's renegotiate the fight for March or I will come to America and give your brother and you a good hiding place."
