MSG claims that the cancellation of the bout was not due to poor ticket sales

However, UFC President Dana White and Eddie Hearn, a boxing promoter, suggested that Team Paul cancel the fight because of low ticket sales.

SunSport was informed by an MSG source that sales were strong going into Fight Week and that the cancellation of short notice was not based on ticket sales.

Paul's fight with Rahman Jr, the son of former heavyweight champion Hasim Sr, was reportedly on track to be one the "top 10 highest grossing boxing events at The Garden" in the past 15 years.

MSG had anticipated a flood of ticket sales during fight week, even though the event wasn't sold out completely.

Paul's first fight with a professional boxer was apparently canceled due to weight problems for Rahman Jr. Rahman Jr. reportedly lost only one pound after agreeing that he would take the 200 lb clash.

The New York State Athletic Commission declined to sanction the bout at 205lbs after learning about his weight problems.

Rahman Jr. is reported to have revealed that he would now weigh in at 215lbs and that he would "pull out of the fight" if necessary.

Paul, furious on social media, blasted: "Hasim Rahman Jr. has pulled out from the fight."

"This isn't a joke, it is devastating, I can't f***ing believe that, we just discovered this news.

"This is yet another instance of a professional fighter, just like Tommy Fury being afraid to fight me."

Paul, 25 years old, is now said to be targeting Andrew Tate, former world champion kickboxer. However The Problem Child has not yet publicly endorsed the fight.

Since Tyron Woodley's brutal defeat last December, the YouTuber has been a boxer and not stepped foot in the ring.

Paul flattened The Chosen One using a vicious overhand right, to increase his record to a perfect 5.05.
