PFL CEO Announces Plans for Jake Paul's MMA Debut

Jake Paul, the YouTuber-turned-boxer, has "multiple opponents" eager to welcome him to the MMA cage, according to PFL CEO Peter Murray. Paul signed with the Professional Fighters League last year, and plans are being made to announce his debut in the coming months.

Paul's Journey from Boxing to MMA

Last February, just a month after signing with PFL, Paul suffered his first defeat against Tommy Fury. However, he bounced back in August with a ten-round victory over ex-UFC star Nate Diaz. Paul and PFL even offered £10 million for a rematch in the cage, but Diaz seems likely to face Jorge Masvidal instead.

Impressive Finish to 2023

Ending the year on a high note, Paul scored a first-round knockout against Andre August, becoming the first professional boxer he has defeated. He is now set to return on March 2 in Puerto Rico on the undercard of Amanda Serrano's homecoming. Although no opponent has been announced yet, Paul claims that Fury was offered a rematch but did not respond. Fury previously defeated Paul's arch rival KSI in a controversial decision.
