JOHN FURRY claims that Dillian Whyte quit his fight against Otto Wallin after hearing what the Swede had to say about him.
Otto Wallin, 33, was set to face Whyte at the end last month. This fight would have been a factor in Fury's next fight.
Fury says Whyte was listening to him talk about Wallin, and that he backed out of
However, the Brit was reportedly injured during his Portugal training camp.
Now, the mandatory contender will be able to fight Fury's WBC heavyweight champion Tyson. This is expected to happen next week.
Fury claims that Wallin pulled out of the fight after Fury heard Wallin talk about how dangerous he is.
Exclusively, he told BT Sport that "Dillian Whyte was forced to leave Otto Wallin."
"Do you know why?" He listened to my words. He thought, "hang on a second." John is an expert on his subject, and I am not going to fight Wallin. I will probably be turned over, and I won't get my title shot there.
"It takes them to watch my videos. Then he hears me talking to Wallin because Wallin is a threat to anyone.
"You know, he thought, 'I'm no having that smoke, but I'll wait, i'll wait.
"Let's see what he is waiting for."
Fury also slowed down Whyte’s chances of defeating his son and becoming the world champion.
He said, "Well, I don’t see what he’s going to do about Tyson."
"Alexander Povetkin would chinned him. And the second time he fought Dillian whyte, he just rolled up to get the money. Povetkin.
He didn't appear to be a threat to anyone, did he? Povetkin said that he looked like an old man over night.
"Tyson is in an entirely different league than these heavyweights. Different. Be nice to him if you want a payday. He might be more inclined to give you a paycheck if you say nice things about him.
Tyson will give another chance if you are determined to be horrible to him.
"Dillian Whyte: Be nice to Tyson. Start blowing smoke up his you'know what and you might get shot, kid."
